I will typically recommend using 10 vials of Sculptra per treatment session to obtain optimal Sculptra Butt Lift resutls. Typically, 2 treatments are needed spaced 1 month apart Final results are seen by 3 months and a single maintenance treatemnt of 10 vials every 2 years is recommended. I like to add PRP to the Sculptra as this enhances the results. Before I proceed with treatment, I always want to make sure the patient is an ideal candidate. BBL with fat is the preferred treatment for anyone who is open to surgery and has significant donor fat. I like to give options and way the pros and cons of each.
Dear Gabuhrn.Don't let the distance discourage from finding the right doctor for this procedure. We see patients from all over in warm Scottsdale. We inject Sculptra on a regular basis in my office. We have been injecting Sculptra into the buttocks since last summer. Sculptra to the buttocks is a newer procedure, but the patients I've treated have had good results. I recommend adding PRP which delivers growth factors to further stimulate collagen into the tissues. We also like to recommend microneedling to create additional lift and a smoother contour. Getting good results is about selecting the best patients for this procedure. We start all our patients with 8 vials and can do another 8 vials 6 to 8 weeks after the initial injection. You can go all the way up to 20 vials and get some significant enhancement. This procedure is not meant to be a replacement for a Brazilian buttock lift with fat injections. It is a different kind of procedure and results. Sculptra is safe, is done in the office, and makes your body generate volume by building up collagen. That means you can work out later and you won't lose volume if you lose weight or if you had fat grafting. It is a safe option compared to surgery. Maintenance injections will be required by most patients. Sign up for our newsletter to get our prices and specials. Watch my video link below to see how it's done!Best wishes. Dr. Aldo
Good afternoon Gabuhrn thank you so much for your question, Sculptra is a great product to use for a butt lift. The amount needed varies per patient depending on patient expectations. Typically 3-5 treatments are needed and maintenance in the future. Please speak to your board certified doctor during your evaluation to have a more specific plan.
Thank you for sharing your question. Most patients will receive 8-10 vials of Sculptra per treatment session, each spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Costs will vary but run around 5-6K per session. Hope this helps.
I agree with the physician posts below. One thing is Sculptra is quite expensive and many vials are needed depending on the patient. In addition, we may combine other therapies such as PRP or Instalift to help appropriately shape the buttocks. It is best to see a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon who can discuss these issues along with the price of the procedure. I hope this helps your decision making process.
Yes, Sculptra can improve the buttocks. The buttocks need numerous vials of Sculptra over time to build volume, and in some instances the results are subtle and will need to be combined with fat or implants to achieve desired results. Cost will vary. I recommend seeing a body shaping expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hello,The lure of using Sculptra is great, given it's popularity on social media. However, one thing should be made abundantly clear: it is very expensive. The use of Sculptra for the aging face (for which it is FDA approved) usually requires 4 to 8 vials and lasts around 2 years. Knowing that this many vials is used on the face to subtly change its contours, you can expect you'll need much, much more to 'inflate' the buttocks. In general, people see a modest change (after about 2 months) with 20 to 30 vials. Physician cost per vial is about $350, so the doctors product cost is about $10500 for 30 vials without an injection fee, which can vary from doctor to doctor. This approaches or equals the cost of a surgical fee for liposuction and fat transfer, but it eliminates downtime and pain (mostly). I hope this sheds light on this subject. Best of luck!
For a buttock augmentation, we recommend starting with 10-20 vials, after which more vials can be injected if desired results are not met. The number of vials needed would be determined upon consultation. Cost can range from $700-950 per vial depending on the number of vials used. However, prices vary greatly in cosmetic procedures and a consultation will be necessary to determine how many are needed to reach your goal. Regards, Dr. Berger
I do 2-3 sessions for a total of 20-25 vials. I feel that breaking up the treatments gives better control of the placement of the Sculptra and less chance of clumping. Be prepared to pay 10-20K for the treatment which should last at least 5-7 years. There are no restrictions on activity or sitting with Sculptra, unlike the BBL with fat.
Sculptra injections to the buttocks can take, on average, 3-6 different office visits. Amount injected varies. I would recommend making an appointment for a consultation with a provider who has a lot of experience injecting Sculptra. Hope this helps.
The mechanism of action of Sculptra is to encourage collagen formation in a way that allows building volume, allowing us to restore youthful shape to faces. It typically takes 8-12 months to see the final result.  The buttock, like the breasts, have shape and volume predominantly due to...
Keep in mind, the buttocks need numerous vials of Sculptra over time to build volume, and in some instances the results are subtle and will need to be combined with fat or implants to achieve desired results. Cost will vary due to skills, technique and expertise. Don't let distance dissuade you...
Wow, are you sure they did 36 vials. I never do more than 4 to 6 at anyone time. It can take 6 to 8 weeks to see some growth, but with 36 vials at once, you might be at risks of getting granulomas. Good luck, Dr. ALDO
