You should not have any issues having fillers for your lips and nasolabial folds with a metal plate in place in your chin. I encourage you to use an experienced injector for your treatment.
Hello and thank you for your question. The possibility is there for a negative reaction but I believe it rarely happens. Getting Juvederm should not have any effect on your metal plate. The key to success is to go to a very experienced doctor. Best wishes.Dr. T

Juvederm for the lips or nasolabial folds is injected in the deep layer of the skin or just below. It should be far from where your metal plate is which sits right on top of the bone. It should not affect your plate. Hope this helps!Johnson C. Lee, MD Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon
Hello and thank you for your question. We would always recommend a face to face consultation to get an accurate idea of treatment however in this case it depends when you had your surgery. If it is a long time ago then this would be no problem. I hope that answers your question and please always seek a qualified and experienced medical professional for treatment, best wishes
The previous metal plate should not effect any filler in the more superficial soft tissues. The only problem is whether or not you need anything in the nasolabial folds. This is an area that I rarely inject now, as the nasolabial folds are caused by volume loss higher and generally need filler higher rather in the fold. See a physician who is an expert in total facial rejuvenation and can select the ideal site for injection.
I have been injecting Profhilo for over three years, since it is approved for use in Israel where I have a satellite facility. However, unfortunately, it is not yet approved in the U.S. where the FDA seems to sluggishly move on approval of a host of excellent injectables only years after its E...
Lip filler should not migrate. This procedure does require expertise to perform correctly. Make sure you are working with a board-certified dermatologist with extensive training in lip filler techniques to ensure an optimal outcome.
It appears you did suffer a nerve injury due to the cannula going a bit too deep and low. The nerves may heal themselves over time. However, you may want to consult with a board-certified physician with experience in nerve injuries to see if treatment could be performed to speed the healing...

The lips are you showing are likely 3-4 syringes, plus you have a very different upper lip shape that will be harder to get a "key hole" pout like that. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hi, thanks for your question. Antibiotics won't affect the result of your filler treatment, but if you have an active infection, particularly around the lips or mouth, you'll want to wait until it is completely resolved before you get lip fillers. I would consult your provider before you have...
