I have been injecting Profhilo for over three years, since it is approved for use in Israel where I have a satellite facility. However, unfortunately, it is not yet approved in the U.S. where the FDA seems to sluggishly move on approval of a host of excellent injectables only years after its European, Canadian and Israeli counterparts have done so. Since the maximal tissue remodeling effects of Profhilo take about two weeks to seen, it is absolutely fine, and in fact preferable, to have Juvederm or other hyaluronic acid fillers injected at that time. It should be noted that for optimal results with Profhilo usually two treatment sessions spaced about a month apart are recommended after which other hyaluronic acid products, such as skin boosters, fillers, and volumizers may be used. You would be wise to consult a physician experienced in the use of Profhilo and while the vast majority of injectable agents, such as Botox, collagen fillers and hyaluronic acid fillers were developed and researched by dermatologists, the latter have been teaching the proper use of these products for many years to other core physicians, such as general plastic surgeons, facial plastic surgeons and opthtalmic plastic surgeons, among others. So, today you have your pick of injectors. Just be sure to make sure that consult with a board certified aesthetic physician and ask to see his/her personal befores and afters before agreeing to proceed. Best of luck.
