Lip filler that doesn't migrate?

Lip filler should not migrate. This procedure does require expertise to perform correctly. Make sure you are working with a board-certified dermatologist with extensive training in lip filler techniques to ensure an optimal outcome. 

Lip filler should not migrate when it is administered by an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon. Keep in mind that although this is not a surgical treatment, it does require precision, expertise, and artistry to achieve the best possible outcome. Make sure you are working with a qualified, experienced provider and you should not see the migration of the filler occur again. 

Lip filler migration occurs when it is not properly placed. It is due to technique, not to any particular product. This is something that can be best avoided by visiting an experienced practitioner who has a good understanding of the facial anatomy.

Hyaluronic acid lip filler such as Juvederm does not migrate.  Either it was injected in the area above the lip or you are noticing some post treatment swelling.  Swelling should subside within 2 weeks of being treated.  Juvederm Ultra is my filler of choice for adding volume to lips and I have had great results with this product.  The issues you are experiencing may have more to do with the injection technique than the product used.  I would recommend looking for a provider with great reviews, asking your provider for before and after pictures of their work , and having an in-depth consultation prior to receiving injections again.

If the treatment is done properly the filler should not migrate.  I suggest visiting with a board certified plastic surgeon for your lip filler.  Be sure to discuss your goals for treatment as well as your past experience with fillers.

Fillers do not migrate as long as the injection process was corrodically done. If you had a filler present above the lip at the end of the treatment, that means it was injected there.
