I've had lip filler twice and both times the filler has migrated above the upper lip. I'm getting it dissolved but would like to know what kind of lip filler migrates less for future injections. I've had 1ml of juvederm both times about two years apart.

Answer: Lip filler migration Hyaluronic acid lip filler such as Juvederm does not migrate. Either it was injected in the area above the lip or you are noticing some post treatment swelling. Swelling should subside within 2 weeks of being treated. Juvederm Ultra is my filler of choice for adding volume to lips and I have had great results with this product. The issues you are experiencing may have more to do with the injection technique than the product used. I would recommend looking for a provider with great reviews, asking your provider for before and after pictures of their work , and having an in-depth consultation prior to receiving injections again.
