I like little perky breasts. My breasts are low and far apart and weird looking. It's like I'm flat chested from the top and boobs form to low. I want them to be higher, closer together, and fuller. One size bigger at most. I do not want big boobs. Do I need low profile implants? Moderate profile implants? What do I need to accomplish this? Also I had areole reduction before. Is scar reduction an option? Or is the scar I have as good as it gets?

Answer: Breast lift with implants If you want your breasts to look more perky, without making them much bigger, then you'd need a lift with small implants. Without a lift, they won't be perky no matter what size or profile of implants are used. As part of the lift, the areolar scars can be revised, and likely improved. Your breasts would be a LITTLE larger, since an implant would be added, but the implant could be fairly small if a lift is also done. In terms of the profile of the implant, this is a decision that would really be made by your surgeon, not by you as the patient. The differences are generally fairly small, but can be important, and the reasons for the selection of high vs. moderate vs. low profile implants can be technical. Be careful what you read! A high profile implant doesn't mean that your breasts will be higher or more full in the upper poles. Indeed, a higher profile implant is narrower in diameter, meaning that it may not provide as narrow of a cleavage, or side or upper fullness, as a wider implant such as a moderate plus. Discuss this with your surgeon, but definitely consider a breast lift. Good luck!

Answer: Breast Augmentation and Mastopexy A detailed exam in person with measurements will help determine what can and can not be achievable. There are numerous difference types of implants and profiles. The profile generally changes the look one gets in the upper pole. If you want them higher and you don't like how flat you are in the top, then a lower profile implant would not be what you would want. You would likely need a more projecting and a higher profile implant to achieve the desired look. You would likely also need a mastopexy to like up the breast and the nipple and areola, at the same time a revision of the scars can be performed. Please contact a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your surgical options.
