I am looking for a surgeon who has an extensive experiences in having handled XL saline implants, somewhere between 900cc-1100cc. If anyone knows of one please feel free to let me know.
Answer: Implants in the 900-1100cc Range? Most plastic surgeons will not go into the XL implant range (larger than 700cc). You need to find those that have extensive experience in using saline implants filled to those ranges. The best thing to do is to talk to others that have had similar size implants placed and then proceed from there. Make sure your surgeon is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has a lot of experience in these sizes. I hope this helps.

Answer: Large size saline implants There are times when I have used overfilled saline implants to achieve volumes you have mentioned. These are usually specific instances for which there are no other alternatives. With this comes the potential of increased complication however. It is best you seek consultations with experts in this type of breast augmentation surgery so a personalized plan can be formulated. I hope this helps!Thomas Taylor, MD, FACS

Answer: Plastic surgeon who specializes in XL saline implants (800cc+)? Thank you for the question. It is an important one: selection of your plastic surgeon will be the most important decision you make when it comes to achieving an outcome that you will be pleased with. Generally I suggest that patients start with the American Society of Plastic Surgery and/or the Aesthetic Society of Plastic Surgery to obtain a list of well experienced board-certified plastic surgeons. Then, I would suggest you visit a few surgeons whose practices concentrate on aesthetic surgery. ***Ask to see lots of examples of their work and preferably speak/see patients who have had similar procedures done. Ultimately it will be important that you feel comfortable that your plastic surgeon have a significant/demonstrable experience consistently achieving the types of outcomes you will be pleased with. Be very careful with your decision-making. You will find, while doing your due diligence, that there are many different “specialties” who will offer their services to you; again, I strongly recommend you concentrate on surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. I hope this helps. Best wishes.

Answer: Large implants Many surgeons have used the large implants, and have seen what large implants can do to breast tissue over time. Please do not go past what will fit your frame and your tissue, or long term your breasts will not look pretty.

Answer: Implants The implant selection should be based on a combination of your desired size, soft tissue dynamics, breast base diameter and skin elasticity. I recommend an in-office examination as well as a detailed discussion with a surgeon who you are comfortable with. Finally, make sure your surgeon is a Double-Board Certified Plastic Surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS) and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).Best,Dr. DesaiBeverly Hills Institute for Aesthetic Plastic SurgeryHarvard Educated, Beverly Hills & Miami Beach Trained, Double-Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
