I had a mild case of tuberous breast deformity and was a small B..(if that). I had 605cc high profile silicone under the muscle and I'm now just a month post op. I've always had this wide spacing between my breasts before implants, but now after my augmentation, I'm noticing a significant indent on my left breast. I'm still in the squareboob phase. However y do I have this crease,I think I've always had it,but why is it still showing on my left boob, which is the right boob from your perspective
Answer: Pocket irregularity Thank you for the good pictures. You appear to be fairly lean and with the large implants like you have, irregularities will be more visible. I agree with the suggestion to wait at least six months and if the irregularity continues you and your doctor will have to decide if it is easier to round out the flat spot or suture down the bulging part!!! In my experience rounding out is usually easier!

Answer: Irregular Muscle Release Hello,That part of the pocket is dictated by the thick attachments of the pectoralis muscle to the sternum and ribs. If the attachments are not released smoothly, there can be those irregularities. With relaxation and expansion, sometimes they can become fairly inconspicuous. You should wait at least 6 to 9 months to determine if another surgery is necessary. Best of luck!

Answer: Causes of irregular contours after breast augmentation. The reason for dents or creases in the breast is all related to how precise the pocket can be created. If you draw a circle around the perimeter of your breasts what's outside the circle is a pocket that has been over dissected and what's inside the circle is a pocket that has been under dissected. It appears your right side is fine but you have a dent in the left breast at 9 o'clock. It also appears that you have a bulge at around 8 o'clock and at 10 o'clock. These bulges may be that the breast pocket has been overly dissected. I have noticed many women may not have good pectoralis muscle and tissue attachments in the upper inner portion of the breast. So when the patient has chosen a very large implant such as 605 cc and when the pocket is created and there is not good pectoralis muscle attachments there, sutures must be placed to suture down the missing attachments or you will see a bulge in these areas. The lower bulge at 8 o'clock may to excessive release of the pectoralis muscle or over dissected pocket in that area. The upper bulge may improve as the breast pocket relaxes and drops but the lower bulge and 9 o'clock dent will not improve with time. You will need to have the medial muscle released and the over dissected pocket sewn down.

Answer: Indentation in breast From your photograph, I can see where the midportion of the cleavage area on the left side is not filled out completely. Without a physical exam and a dynamic look at how the Pectoralis muscle contracts, one can only surmise what this may represent. If there has been slightly less dissection along that area, it may take time for it to stretch out and look like the opposite side. At just a month out, there's plenty of time for this to happen. I would recommend you be patient and follow up with your operating plastic surgeon. Congratulations on your surgery
