It's my fifth day post op breast augmentation. I stopped taking my pain pills the third day. I'm only taking Bactrim and Celebrex. I feel woozy, naesuea and have bad indigestion all day. Should I be feeling this way still? I'm really starting to regret getting these implants. My post op appointment was yesterday and the doc said I'm healing well and I had no bruising or swelling. But I feel so terrible all the time.
Answer: Feeling bad You may be reacting to the antibiotic or Celebrex. I would suggest stopping the antibiotic, and letting your surgeon know. If you do not improve soon, stop the Celebrex. If you continue to feel nauseated, please see your medical doctor.

Answer: Breast augmentation , breast implants position It sounds like you are having some ill effects of anesthesia, pain medications or you have a cold. Sometimes it takes a couple of weeks to feel your self again after surgery. Best to rest and avoid the pain pills if possible. Feel better and good luck...

Answer: Not feeling well post BAM Hi Ginger.Sorry to hear about your woes. Of course you are having questions about the surgery, but it is way too early to make any judgements.Regarding you current symptoms. I think you are not liking the medications. Both Bactrim and Celebrex can give you the gi symptoms you describe. I recommend Mylanta or Maalox (liquid) to put out the fire. I also recommend sleeping with head elevated to minimize reflux.Call your doctor to see if you still need to be on the meds, and if not, get off of them. Try eating around meals.Regarding feeling woozy, this may be a sign of dehydration, so please drink lots of fluids like Ruby Red Grapefruit juice, Gatorade, etc. along with water.sek

Answer: Feeling nausea and stomach upset 5 days after breast augmentation Every patient's experience is a bit different. There are several reasons why you may be experiencing these symptoms. Some have nausea and "bad indigestion" from anesthesia, even days later. The use of an anti nausea medication can be very effective and can be prescribed by your surgeon, who I'm sure does not want you to regret getting your implants. The pills themselves can cause upset for some, and it is certainly worth discussing with your doctor. They can help early on to ensure you get back to feeling better as quickly as possible and enjoying your new breasts.
