Should I get fillers or an Italian lip lift?

It would have been beneficial to see a before picture to explain what has happened to your lip lift procedure. You seem to have a very small mouth and possibly small and narrow upper lip vermilion. You will need more skin removed from under your alar bases and the nostrils and non from under your columella. You could also use fillers like Restylane on the sides of your upper lip. Planning is very important in lip lift procedure and every case has to be individualized to get a good result.

It looks like your lip lift overemphasized the central component without enough lateral skin removal. I would give it at least 6-9 months before considering a revision. Make sure that your surgeon is comfortable with revision lip lift surgery.

 Treatment of the unsatisfactory lip lift.  I don’t know what the Italian lip lift is but it sounds like a branded name. I’ve done lip lifts for 44 years and these are relatively standard. It appears that your lateral lip was not elevated enough. I do not make an Incision on the outer  sides of your nostrils as this often leaves a very noticeable scar. Make sure you see several very experienced surgeons who can show you natural results from their work. Fillers would not be an option to correct your problem.
