Thanks for your question. Liposculpture is often part of the BrazilianButt Lift (BBL) procedure because a Brazilian Butt Lift has two parts. The first part is the liposuction to shapethe buttocks and then there is a fat transfer part where you take the fat thatis removed and you re-inject it to the butt to give it a it a fuller, rounderlook. So essentially, liposculpture isjust part of the BBL procedure.
Liposculpture is basically using liposuction technique to sculpt the body - such as abdominal etching or creating a more narrow and defined waistline, and so on. A brazilian butt lift is injecting this removed fatty tissue into the buttocks to augment and provide more volume. Liposculpture only removes the fat and creates improved contours but by itself does not provide more volume to the buttock, however, due to shaping and narrowing the waist and thighs, the butt can appear larger since the surrounding tissue are smaller. So basically the right procedure depending on your concerns.Best of luck and hope this information helps!- Dr. Roger Tsai@DrRogerTsai
Thank you for your question. This is a great question, since some of the surgeons who answered it, do not know the difference between liposuction and liposculpture. These are not interchangeable terms. Liposuction is fat removal, a debulking procedure. Liposculpture is fat removal and sculpting the areas from where the fat was removed. For example, defining the semilunar line where the lateral rectus muscle meets the oblique muscles, creating the depression between the lateral pectoral muscle and anterior border of the latissimus muscle, defining the paraspinous muscles in the back to create a muscular lower back, creating a "six pack", defining the muscular anatomy of the arm, you get the picture. Liposuction and liposculpture are the same for those surgeons who only know how to make an anatomic area less fat, but cannot do the definition based on the muscle anatomy. A Brazilian Butt Lift or BBL is injecting the fat into the buttocks for shaping and enhancement which was collected with liposuction (liposculpture in the hands of a body sculpting surgeon). Without good liposculpture of the surrounding anatomical areas which border the buttocks, the results are less than optimal. I hope this helps.

Liposculpture referes to performing liposuction and contouring an area. Brazilian buttock lift refers to injecting fat into the buttock to augment size and change shape. Watch this brief video for more information.Best wishes,Dr.Bruno
Liposculpture is the same as liposuction, which involves harvesting the fat, and the transfer of the fat is the Brazilian buttlift.
As a more effective form of liposuction, liposculpture can literally sculpt the body in addition to removing localized deposits of fat. A brazilian butt lift via fat transfer utilizes fat harvested from one area of the body and transferred to the buttocks in order to alter its size and shape.
Thanks for your question. Liposculpture is contouring an area by liposuction. Brazilian Butt Lift is transferring that excess fat from liposuction to the buttocks to lift it to a higher position, add volume, and enhance its shape. Please consult with a board certified plastic surgeon with extensive BBL and liposuction experience to discuss your options. All the best!
I agree with the majority of the posts regarding your question.Bodysculpture is more of a marketing term and anything else.Well performed liposuction should be sculpting the body to it's ideal shape and contour. A similar term is high definition body contouring or high definition liposuction. There are times when some fat is left behind to give the impression of the muscle definition. Some plastic surgeons will refer to this as sculpting or high definition.Regardless the bottom line is the person performing the procedure will either do a good job or not regardless of what they called the procedure.I think the definition of a Brazilian has been answered appropriately.Best,Mats Hagstrom M.D.
Liposculpture refers to a group of methods used to remove fat from specific body areas. BBL involves the transfer of fat from different parts of the body, including: lateral thighs, tummy, and flanks, to the buttocks.
The rippling on your stomach is due to loose skin after liposuction to your stomach. To correct this, you should have a tummy tuck procedure performed. This will tighten your abdominal skin and eliminate the rippling. A consultation is required for a more accurate assessment.
There are plenty of over-the-counter pain relief medicines available. When you stop taking Norco, you can take something like Tylenol, which is Acetaminophen. Acetaminophen is actually an ingredient in Norco. Make sure your doctor is advised and consulted on your decision to switch medications...
Thanks for the question. In this regard, I recommend you waist and back Liposculpture, getting better curves especially in the waist, improving your body contour. Finally, I suggested take the fat we get and transfer to the buttocks and hips, to mold them and get better volume, contour and ...
