Coolsmooth Pro for thighs?

CoolSmooth Pro can be a great treatment for the outer thighs, but it is not usually used to treat the inner thighs. It can very rarely be used to treat the back of the thighs, but usually the back of the thighs are not big enough to fit the applicator properly. You would have to be examined to see if you are even a candidate for the treatment and if so, which applicators would be best for you. Your current treatment plan does not sound right and I would recommend you get a second opinion from an experienced CoolSculpting physician. Hope this helps answer your question.

It is important when seeking consultation with coolsculpting to make sure to go to an expert in both non-invasive and invasive techniques.  Unfortunately, there are clinics where the patient's outcome isn't what comes first.  The coolsmooth pro was designed specifically for the outer thigh due to its unique shape.  There could be cases where this might be used on the posterior thighs or inner thighs but that would be rare.  The inner thigh especially would be likely to have a dent as the coolsmooth pro doesn't provide a transition zone of cooling that creates a natural feathering.  Never be afraid to seek a second opinion if something doesn't sound right.

Thanks for your question. This is a not a standard protocol for treating thighs. Coolsmooth Pro is meant to be used for the outer thigh and inner thighs should be treated with the CoolFit. I would recommend having a different consultation. 

CoolSculpting for the the lateral thigh is done with the CoolSmooth applicator which is flat.  We don't use that applicator to treat the inner thighs.  You may want to get another opinion.

Good afternoon and thank you for your question.  The CoolSmooth applicator is typically reserved for the outer thigh and placement is critical in order to achieve desired results without creating contour irregularities.  The inner thigh is usually treated using the Coolfit to address those bulges at the upper inner thigh that most people want gone. The treatment plan you have presented is not one that I would necessarily recommend.  I suggest you make sure the provider you are seeing has plenty of experience with CoolSculpting and has attended CoolSculpting University (a training program run by the manufacturer of CS) prior to moving forward.  I hope this information is helpful and best of luck to you!
