I encourage all potential patients to ask whowill be performing their treatments. A licensed aesthetician who has completedtraining to use the CoolSculpting machine and applicators can perform thetreatment when supervised by a physician. Unfortunately, the nature of thatsupervision can vary. At my practice, I'm very involved in the treatment of allnew patients and ensure that all procedures are performed safely andeffectively.
It depends on the state regulations in the state. I would not recommend seeing a licensed esthetician unless this person works in the office under the oversight of a board certified plastic surgeon.
Thank you for your question, amritguzman. I can speak for SculpSure as our patients choose this procedure time and time again for its efficacy and its status as the best laser fat treatment after defeating CoolSculpting and other competitors in head-to-head clinical studies. Only a physician and/or surgeon can purchase a SculpSure laser after they have been approved through proper training. All SculpSure applicators are performed or supervised by the trained surgeon. Please be sure to always consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon to ensure you are receiving the top-trained and equipped doctors. Best wishes,
This will probably vary for each state. In California, there really are no regulations in who can or can't perform CoolSculpting. Nurses, Physician Assistants, Estheticians, Medical Assistants, or anyone who has been trained by the company can perform the procedure under the supervision of a physician. Naturally, your results will depend heavily on the skill and experience of the treatment provider. If you are considering having the procedure done then I would recommend having it done under the direct supervision of a physician. Hope this helps answer your question.
ce properly trained, a licensed aesthetician can perform Coolsculpting under the guidance or supervision of a physician. Coolsculpting devices can only be owned/purchased by a physician. Results from Coolsculpting are highly dependent on the experience of the technician and the proper placement of the applicator. Regardless of a person's title, ask them about their experience and don't be afraid to ask questions about the procedure or the plan for applicator placement.
You can discuss with your surgeon the possibility of adding liposuction since you'll be in the operating room. Have the surgery first and after your full recovery you can decide if you want to fine tune anything with CoolSculpting.
Thank you for your question. This is not normal. Coolsculpting does not go deep enough to affect the uterus. I urge you to discuss this with your treating physician.
If there is no surgery planned on your ovarian cyst then it is ok to have CoolSculpting done. If you are having surgery done on your cyst then you should wait until you have healed from the surgery before having CoolSculpting.

What you’re experiencing at this point is completely normal for one week post treatment. The CoolSculpting treatment is very superficial in that it only targets pockets of fat close to the surface of the skin. The excretion of fat is a natural elimination process and involves the lymphatic s...
Yes, numbness is a fairly common side effect following CoolSculpting treatments. It should resolve on its own over the course of a few weeks, although in some cases it may last for a month or two.
