If there is no surgery planned on your ovarian cyst then it is ok to have CoolSculpting done. If you are having surgery done on your cyst then you should wait until you have healed from the surgery before having CoolSculpting.

A CoolSculpting procedure should not affect an ovarian cyst.  The CoolSculpting would only affect the fat below the skin and temporarily cause some numbness to the skin in the treated area.  It would not affect the tissue below the subcutaneous fat.

Dear Punchito06:The abdominal cavity, where the ovaries are located are separated from the subcutaneous skin and fat by a muscle and fascia layer. This allows for a safer procedure to be performed on the skin and fat of the outer tummy.CoolSculpting (CS) will not affect the organs of the abdomen. You may need to be concerned should a laparoscopy or laparotomy procedure be performed on the tummy to see, biopsy or remove the ovarian cyst. Should this occur, you must wait until the healing is complete before considering CS in the area of the scar.Please review these concerns and obtain a consultation from a Certified CS, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon particularly if you have had or will have a lower tummy surgery.
