Neck Lift is a general term relating to procedures that will improve your neckline. There are many possibilities so picking the best neck lift treatment(s) for optimal improvement including chin implant is most important. A board certified plastic surgeon with a special interest and substantial experience in neck lift and lower face lift surgery is the place to start. The reason for a plastic surgeon is that he/she can offer all possible options and tell you specifically which ones are best for you.The best recommendations to improve your neck appearance depend on your needs, desires, and most importantly an examination to determine the best procedure for you. Your plastic surgeon will evaluate you for five main features that will determine your best options for neck line improvement: See the below link to learn more.
It's best to begin by consulting with a surgeon in-person to discuss your options. During your initial examination, your #chin will be evaluated along with the neck and jawline. A weak #chin implies a lack of chin support for the skin along the neck line. In younger individuals a chin implant alone is usually all that is needed to improve the appearance of the neck. Subsequently, it will also improve the overall #balance of the face and can create the illusion of a smaller nose. As a stand-alone procedure, chin augmentation can be performed in the office under local #anesthesia. For individuals with signs of #aging in the neck, a chin implant added to one of the recommended procedures above, will provide optimal results. Also, the presence of banding down the front of the #neck, and, amount of excess skin and condition of your skin are among some factors which determine if you are a #candidate for #rejuvenating the neck. Often, #liposuction can be used with a neck lift or in place of depending on the amount of body fat in that area.A board certified plastic surgeon should evaluate both your anatomical features and aesthetic goals to determine if a neck lift and/or #chin procedure best suits your individual needs. In some cases your plastic surgeon may give you more than one option to choose from. If you are not a candidate at the time of your #consultation, your board certified plastic surgeon can recommend non-surgical alternatives to address your concern.
Our office specializes in chin implant. A chin implant may give you more lower face projection and balance out your facial silhouette. At this age, you may choose an Ulthera treatment for your lower face and neck, rather than a necklift.Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
An examination of you would provide more information to give you the best advice, but based on your photos, I would say you would be a good candidate for chin augmentation with an implant and liposuction of the neck (under the chin). Both of these procedures would give you a more defined neck line and balance your profile appearance.
It looks as though you may benefit from liposuction underneath the chin (submental liposuction) - that can be paired with a chin implant if you do want a more pronounced chin. An in person consultation would help to determine exactly what procedures would be most beneficial to you. I recommend consulting with a board certified facial plastic surgeon. Good luck with your search!Mark Petroff, MD
I usually reserve a necklift (basically a lower facelift) for patients who have loose skin and platysma muscles. You would do well with some liposuction underneath your chin and upper neck area. That can be done at the same time as a chin implant, which one of your photos looks like you have a retrusive chin and one doesn't. If you are not opting for surgery, an ultrasound or RF based non surgical therapy could help you tighten up the fat pad behind your chin.
Yes tio chin implant No to lift maybe liposuction or ThermiTight Rf to neck..........................
Do not believe you need a chin implant. Chin projection is good in the photos posted. The fat in the neck needs to be removed. The method of removal would depend if the fat is above the muscle or below the muscle
The photograph demonstrates fatty deposits in the neck and a weak chin profile. Both a chin implant and a neck lift can help give better chin augmentation and jawline definition, and are complementary to each other. Chin implants are manufactured in a variety of sizes and shapes, or composed of Silastic, or inserted through sub mental approach at the same time as the neck work being performed. A neck lift involves removal of fatty deposits above and below the platysma muscle, and a platysma plasty. Skin removal is not necessary. Dear Lexi, You do appear to have a slightly week chin from your profile photograph and probably need a slight augmentation. An examination would be needed to confirm candidacy. However you do appear to be a candidate for cervical liposuction. This is the removal of fat in the anterior neck and chin area to reduce the volume and appearance of a double chin. This redefines the neckline allowing a more balanced profile. Seek consultation with imaging to show you the the proposed results of these procedures. Best regards, Michael V. Elam, M.D.
Dear Pinhead, yes there is an implant that can be custom made. It is a very big surgery that requires a large incision from ear to ear (coronal incision) Prior to your procedure you will need to have a Ct scan of your head then some treatment planning session with a custom implant company. I...

At your young age with a malocclusion, you need to consider a jaw surgery evaluation. At the least you need a sliding genioplasty but lower jaw advancement surgery should be initially investigated. A rhinoplasty can be performed before, during or after jaw surgery.
