I have teardrop implants and I am planning to change them to round in a few years as one has rotated. But first I'm interested in closing up my cleavage gap with a fat transfer. I would love to have a "one finger" gap and right now I have about a four finger gap. Can a cleavage fat transfer give me this result? How many ccs would I need for this?
Answer: Implant gap Based on the photo, it looks like some of the "gap" is being created by the implant that is giving you trouble. Fat transfer to the cleavage area can help narrow the space but simply repositioning that implant will help as well.

Answer: Fat transfer I would suggest first exchanging your implants for round shape and see what your cleavage is like. Then, you could consider a fat transfer if needed.

Answer: Can breast fat transfer help close up my wide cleavage gap? I would suggest changing your imnplants before or at the time of the fat injection, not doing the fat before, since your breast shape may change with the implant repacement. Keep in mind that following the advice from a surgeon on this or any other website who proposes to tell you exactly what to do without examining you, physically feeling the tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full medical history, and discussing the pros and cons of each operative procedure would not be in your best interest. I would suggest you find a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) that you trust and are comfortable with. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person. Robert Singer, MD FACS La Jolla, California

Answer: Fat Transfer to the Breast I would approach your situation in an different order. I would recommend changing out the implants prior to attempting fat transfer as a lot more can be done to your cosmetic appearance, including improving the gap by changing your implants. Some pocket work would be needed as well as placing a wider implant to help your breast footprint. I would recommend you see a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options. Hope that helps.

Answer: Fat transfer Dear locobaby223, fat transfer breast augmentation is a viable alternative for women who desire larger breasts without the use of implants. Fat transfer is also widely used in reconstruction of the breast after a mastectomy or lumpectomy. It can also be very effective in correcting the size and shape of the breasts due to genetic problems such as tuberous breast or Poland Syndrome, two conditions that look like misshapen or underdeveloped breasts. In addition, the following scenarios are also reason to consider breast fat grafting:• If you have chest areas that appear creased and sunken• If you desire more permanent correction than is provided by temporary fillers• If you wish to improve your body contour, revise scars, fill bodily depressions and rejuvenate the natural curve of your breasts• To fill in contour irregularities or hide obvious signs of breast implantsYou should discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon and make sure your surgeon understands your concerns and your breast augmentation goals. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
