Can I achieve my dream nose? (Photo)

Question

I attached pictures of what my dream nose would be. Ex photo 1 is of Selena gomez. What I like about her nose is how when she smiles her nose doesnt turn down. If you look at ex photo 2 of maia mitchell her nose is also similar. If you look at example picture 3, that's sort of what I'm talking about. When I smile, my nose does that, and I hate how it looks. I wonder if it's possible to shorten my nose since it's kind of long for my face. That's really it. Am I out of mind? Is this achievable?

I think you are an excellent candidate for a rhinoplasty.  You need to have a surgeon who is experienced, but also ne'er stands you want a small cute nose. Many surgeons would be too conservative with your nose and not reduce it sufficiently.  Your bridge needs to be reduced considerably to get the outcome you seek.

... but probably not all of the way there. But that's how things go with rhinoplasty this century!See the "Web reference" link, just below my response. I made a computer morph of your nose, and an animation of the morph, to show the changes that are possible for your nose in truly expert hands.
The model's nose is *very* short, and your skin, which is thicker than hers, could put a limit on how close to her nose we could come. But the most likely outcome is a significant change.In the morph, I lowered the bump on the bridge, and elevated the tip. Those are the changes that would move your nose closer to her features.You should understand that the changes I demonstrated in the morph require advanced techniques, techniques that most plastic surgeons cannot handle.  Be sure to read the section in the "Web reference" link on how to stay out of trouble while searching for a rhinoplasty surgeon.Your nose is also a good example of why computer imaging is mandatory in rhinoplasty. You need to know exactly what the surgeon is planning to accomplish -- what features he'll change, and by how much he'll change them -- so you know whether it's enough to be meaningful to you, and whether he understands your wishes enough to address all of your priorities. Then, he must show you before and after photos to prove that he can actually accomplish what he draws on the computer.

A rhinoplasty done by a very experienced rhinoplasty surgeon can achieve your goals but not exactly that same nose. Removal of the hump, refinement of the tip, shortening of the nose etc. will give you a much more attractive and  feminine  nose. See an surgeon who's results show natural looking noses.

You can achieve a shorter nose, But not like Selena gomez, first because your skin is thicker than hers and will prevent us to get that result, ans second because you shouldn have a nose like hers because your face are different. Her nose will not look good for you. What you can achieve is a more refined nose with a proper size to your face, with a better tip and without the small hump. So I would recommend a rhinoplasty and you can achieve a marvelous result, but you should understand what you can and should expect from this surgery. Regards

Yes your nose can be shortened using various techniques with an open rhinoplasty technique. You may not be able to achieve the noses that you present in your examples but your aesthetics can be enhanced utilizing a few maneuvers. The muscles that pull down your tip can be released and your tip will need to be refined with cartilage removal and cartilage grafts added for shaping and support (particularly because you have thick skin).See an experienced BCPS.DrBurnett#realself100

The photographs demonstrate an overly projecting nose, and an under projecting chin. A rhinoplasty procedure can accomplish decreasing the projection of the nose, shaving down the dorsal hump, and narrowing the bulbous tip, with all  of the incisions placed on the inside of the nose, also known as closed rhinoplasty. All of your wish picks show patients with a strong chin profile, so it's important to consider a chin implant to improve facial balance and proportions, especially with respect to the overly projecting nose.
