In the past, I've gotten lip fillers twice, and really liked the way they looked. I only want a subtle change - the smallest implant possible. Just a slightly more enhanced version of my current lips. See photo for reference. On the left is a selfie I took this morning. On the right are some photos from the last time I had fillers done - back in September. Will the 3mm Permalip give me the subtle enhancement I'm going for like in the photos, or is still too big? Thank you!

Answer: Lip implants vs using the patient's own tissues
If there is any pallor to the lip, it may be due to epinephrine which is sometimes mixed by the doctor into the syringe along with lidocaine to reduce bruising. Or if lidocaine and epinephrine were injected to numb the lip area, this can occur. It is temporary and should wear off...
You most likely need a slight touch up with hyaluronidase if the swelling does not resolve after 7-10 days. In the meantime, a slight massage to the area can help. This should be easy to correct as long as it is not a permanent filler. Best of luck!
Thank you for your question. Fillers are great way to help improve volume in the lips. However, they will not treat chapped lips. The best way to treat chapped lips is with chapsticks and drinking plenty of water. I hope this helps!
