I am looking to have a breast lift without implants and a tummy tuck with muscle repair and lipo. Realistically at 7 weeks will I be ok to go abroad and go on a water slide or is this ambitious?
Answer: Recovery time While recovery times can vary from person to person, a Mommy Makeover typically involves multiple procedures like breast augmentation, tummy tuck, and liposuction, which can have different recovery timelines. Generally, after 7 weeks, many individuals start feeling more comfortable and have healed sufficiently. However, it's crucial to consult with your surgeon before making plans. Waterslides might involve physical activity, water pressure, and potential impacts on the body that could be risky during the initial recovery phase. Additionally, flying after surgery, especially if it's an extended flight, might pose some risks due to the possibility of blood clots. We can give you the best advice tailored to your specific case. We'll evaluate your healing progress, the extent of your procedures, and whether it's safe for you to engage in activities like going on a waterslide. Your health and safety should always be the top priority during recovery.

Answer: Travel after Mummy Makeover The minimum recommendation for travel after a mummy makeover is about 6 weeks. You will still be in the recovery phase and may not be fully able to enjoy the waterslides. These procedures may sometimes have areas that take longer to heal and so if all goes well then 6 weeks should be fine but should any areas need longer to heal then this may be ambitious.

Answer: Mommy Makeover recovery I don't suggest a waterslide 7 weeks after surgery. I recommend waiting at least three months before you allow such forces to be applied to your body. You'll want to have the best recovery and result possible so it is worth the wait. Likewise, trips abroad are a chance to have a lot of fun, and so I don't advise travelling until you can maximize your holiday. Keep the two separate by about three months.

Answer: Mommy makeover recovery. Will I be okay to go abroad and go on a waterslide 7 weeks after surgery? I would consult with your Surgeon who did the procedure. In general. this would be a sudden increase in physical activity/movements and your body just may not be ready for it. If you have areas of delayed healing, they won't be ready for this. Also, it could precipitate a late seroma or other complication. I would arrange a consult with your surgeon. I wish you well with your onward journey.

Answer: Surgery What you can or should be doing at 7 weeks is dependent upon how well you have healed and if all wounds are closed with no scabs. Tummy down on the water slide is not an option at 7 weeks. Do ask your surgeon prior to leaving for your trip.
