8mo post op WLS (down 60lbs) and currently still loosing slowly. BIM is currently at 32. Do I have to wait one year post-op or if I'm at the appropriate BMI can I schedule surgery soon? Not sure which procedure would be better. My problem areas are my stomach and hips, loose skin. I prefer less procedures as possible due to recovery time. What do you recommend? MMO or ETT w/ possible breast lift w/ implants. No kids and don't plan on having children.

Answer: Tummy tuck You defiantly can see a Plastic surgeon and get the process started even if you are not at your ideal weight. If your plastic surgery is busy and does a good work he probably will be booked out for months. Now when it comes to weight loss. I usually require my patient to 1- be at their ideal weight and stay stable for about 6 months at least. If they continue to loss weight we discuss the importance of being at ideal weight and the impact of that on your body contouring results. Also it's important to have the right clearance for this surgery. From the photos above, I think you might be a good candidate for a tummy tuck that extends just to the end of the skin fold.

Answer: Extended abdominoplasty of belt lipectomy (circumferential body lift) Based on these photos, your options are an extended tummy tuck vs. belt lipectomy (with scar around your torso, hips. These options are something to be discussed with your prospective surgeon. Further weight loss and agressive liposuction would improve result. It is not possible to discuss breasts since there are no adequate photos? Hope this helps. Good luck.
