Thank you for sharing your excellent question. I would STRONGLY recommend not using suction cup devices like Candy Lipz to further increase your lip volume. At best these devices are ineffective and difficult to control, but at worst can cause tissue damage and bruising to your lips. If you would like additional volume have a thicker hyaluronic acid filler, like Juvederm Ultra Plus placed by a board certified plastic surgeon. Best wishes.
I don't recommend using these types of devices. I recommend following up with your injector. A touch-up of filler may give you the results you want. These fillers, (Restylane, Volbella, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical and full lip. Implants or fat are alternative options. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
In most cases, the use of Candy Lipz post treatment is not advised. Consult with your injector as he or she knows the scope of the treatment and the specifics about you.
Post lip fillers, you need to give your lips time to heal completely before using any lip plumping products. 2 - 3 weeks should be sufficient. Always get your surgeons approval before using any products. Regards.
I would go ahead and do what you would like to your lips. You are well out from the immediate swelling stage and there is nothing you can do at this point that will affect the filler.
Thank you for the question. It is very common for patients to try filler injections before going through with fat transfer. HA fillers typically last 5-7 months. Fat transfer can be very appealing to some patients because it involves injecting your own healthy fat cells into the...
Thank you for your question. If your plan is to have half a syringe used between both your upper and lower lid you will not see a remarkable change in volume. I would use half a syringe in the bottom lip and half in the upper lip. Remember it takes 2 weeks for all swelling to resolve and to see...
Thank you for your question. As you do see this when you are smiling it can be caused by your dentition. You can have this corrected with more filler placement. I recommend seeing your injector for in person evaluation.
Thank you for your question. It is normal to have some swelling and bruising after lip augmentation. This typically resolves within 2 weeks. You can apply ice to the treated area to help resolve the swelling more quickly. If after 2 weeks you are still unhappy with your results you can have the...
I would do the same thing. I would make it dissolve and start from scratch for best results. I understand that his may be upsetting to you, but if you want perfect lip, then it is worth the hustle. Dissolving product will make it go away faster, if you wait for it to dissolve naturally then it...
If you're looking to inject just the upper lip, as I would based on your picture, a 0.5cc amount is likely a great starting point. If planning to do the entire lips, then go for a full 1cc syringe. More importantly, have an expert who knows lip anatomy injecting you (e.g. dermatologist) for...
