I had 1 ml of filler under each eye as I was told my hollows were quite deep. It looked great in the office. I had no bruising at all. But from day 2, there has been lots of swelling without a bruise. The swelling did reduce over the past 10 days but still persists. My under eyes feel lumpy to touch. I need it to look better in another 15 days for a very important event. When will I see final results? At present it is not an improvement over the hollows at all.

Answer: Swelling post tear trough filler Hello, After two weeks, it is probably best to seek a review by your practitioner. Rest assured, this can be managed. Best wishes, Dr Salinda Johnson The London Cosmetic Clinic

Answer: Tear troughs Thank you for the question and photos. It is difficult to answer this without knowing exactly which filler was used but I would definitely expect the swelling after any filler to have gone by 2 weeks. This lumpiness is probably a separate issue and you should definitely go back to your injector to discuss this. 1ml in each side is quite a lot for a tear trough (but not for cheeks etc) and I personally treat severe tear trough deformities in more than one sitting to avoid lumpiness etc. If this problems persists then you may need to go back to you injector and I would suggest seeing an experienced plastic surgeon in the future.
