Many factors influence the duration of dermal fillers, including product choice, location of placement, and patient lifestyles. Areas around the mouth are more mobile, and do tend to wear off faster than areas that are less mobile, such as the cheeks. If patients are high metabolizers by nature or very active, the products may have as long of a duration. While we can give patients general ideas in regards to product duration, there are many factors that influence this and duration typically varies somewhat between patients.
