My nose after the surgery is too small with the tip of my nose being high up. One other issue is the fact that the bridge of my nose is shaven too much. Before the surgery, I mentioned that I wanted the tip of my nose to stay pointy but unfortunately looks more round which I didnt want. I have uploaded my before&after pictures as well as the types of noses that I wanted. Would the pictures above be achievable if I under go a revision? and which one of the 10 pictures would go with my face?
Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello, Thank you for your question. 4 months post op is the early stage of healing therefore it is swollen right now. A final result can be achieved at least in one year. You need to follow up with your surgeon, for ongoing concerns after one year you may consider a revision rhinoplasty by an experienced in this field plastic surgeon.Regarding your desired nose I think a beautiful nose should be compatible with the rest of the person's face, should reflect personality traits, haven't completely lost the familial and racial character. A nose that is not compatible with the face of the person, even if it has been made very beautiful, will remain as if it were pasted on the face. As with all aesthetic surgeries the aim of the rhinoplasty should be achieving the natural look. A beautiful and natural looking nose, that suits your face can be achieved by the help of the Closed and Atraumatic Rhinoplasty, which minimizes swelling and bruises, maximizes healing, prevents tissue damage and eliminates a scar on the columella. Answer: Post-op Rhinoplasty Hi and thank you for your question and photos. I understand your dissatisfaction. If you are thinking of a revision please keep in mind a revision rhinoplasty requires exceptional skill on behalf of the surgeon and great communication with the patient about realistic goals and expectations. Also, in a revision rhinoplasty, cartilage from your septum may have been depleted and therefore often an alternative source of cartilage is needed, such as from the ear. This is just one of the important differences between primary and revision rhinoplasty that need to be discussed in detail before you decide to proceed with surgery. Make sure to seek out the care of a board certified surgeon with extensive experience in revision rhinoplasty. Find someone you connect with, who will listen to your concerns and provide you with a framework for what is possible. Best, Dr. Gary Linkov

Answer: Not the nose I wanted Hello, I am sorry to hear you don’t have the outcome you wished for. From your pictures and concerns I think you will need a revision operation- your tip will not come down further and to get the shape and balance with your bridge will need the use of grafts- from your septum if it has not been operated or possibly rib cartilage.Look for a recognised expert in secondary rhinoplasty- you will have to wait for a further 8 or so months before another surgery.
