Yes, Propanolol (Beta-Blocker) may impact your surgery case and your hair surgeon should know that you are taking the medication. Fast heart beat has no any impact on hair transplant surgery. You  may feel some palpitation during local anesthesia but it is reversible. There was nothing to worry about that case.

Hi, sinus tachycardia is a common condition among healthy people. You have two choices to prevent symptoms from rapid heartbeats, number 1: ask surgeon to use local anesthetic without epinephrine. You may be excited by process of FUE itself and this may trigger an increased heart beat which you have control of. number 2: You can use medication. I would prefer calcium channel blockers, they will relax and improve blood supply. Metoprolol blocks receptors in majority of vessels.
