I had my first breast aug. 5 years ago above the muscle and developed rippling immediately. Last year I had revision surgery to change pocket position from above to below the muscles with a breast lift. I already had asymmetric nipples but after the surgery they look so different. My right breast is droopy, the implant higher and the nipple is low and the left nipple is way higher with a different shape. Both boobs have strange folds too. Would it be enough to lift the right breast a bit more??
Answer: Breasts Yes, I think lifting the right breast and nipple a little more could help make then more even. You did not post your before implant photo, but you may not have been even.

Answer: New lift, revision Based on asymmetry of areolas and possible capsular contracture, you would benefit from revision. It would be best to seek a second opinion by a board certified plastic surgeon with good reputation in breast surgery. Good luck.

Answer: Breast revision Thank you for your question. A large portion of my practice is dedicated to revision breast surgery. It appears that your mastopexy-breast lift was performed. You should seek a revision mastopexy by a artistic and experienced surgeon. Best wishes to you.

Answer: Breast lift You got a pretty nice result with your breast lift. The nipple that’s too low can be lifted a bit to match the other side and probably be done under local anesthesia

Answer: Revision Dear papilotte, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals.
