So I had breast augmentation 2 years ago 375cc above muscle and I am really unhappy with how they look. I am booked in with a different company in 6 weeks time and they have suggested I go smaller implants and that I need an uplift :( I wanted to go bigger to 500-600cc without an uplift but I am being told they won’t allow it so I will attach photos of now and also before my breast augmentation.
Answer: Bellesoma Method In your frontal view, you can see your breasts are wider than your chest wall. Larger implants will make your current situation even worse. I recommend a lift using The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured from your previous surgery. Later, fat transfers or small implants can be placed if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Implants Please do not go bigger for you will just stretch and thin your tissue even more and sag. Yes, you need to go somewhat smaller and have a lift. Your tissue is sagging now and an augmentation does not correct this.

Answer: Lifting wouldn't be necessary. Thank you for your question. I think it is possible to change to a larger implant without lifting. Since the positions of both implants look a little different, it is necessary to adjust the position, and if a larger implant is used, the tissue will be thinner, so it is recommended to perform fat grafting at the edge of the implant.

Answer: Breast revision Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, your breasts are asymmetric. A lift and an implant revision can help to fix this. You do not need much of a lift, however your breast tissue is starting to slide off of your implant. I agree that putting in 600 cc implants will be too large while simultaneously performing a lift and will lead to poor results overtime. You can consider slightly upsizing your implant, and adding some fat grafting to not only help camouflage the implant, but also to increase the volume. Good luck.

Answer: Revision surgery Dear Keely90x, determining whether you need simply a breast augmentation versus a breast lift can be somewhat complicated. It depends on a number of factors including skin laxity and current nipple position. Generally speaking, if the nipples are lower than the inframammary line the patient will most likely need a breast lift. If the nipples are at or above the inframammary line we can generally get by with just a breast augmentation depending on the size of the implant the patient wants. I often still using implant when I perform a breast lift because it provides more upper breast fullness after the lift. To be sure a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help determine what the patient actually needs.
