Botox for jaw reduction-is there an age cutoff?

I see no reason you cannot continually under go this procedure, and I have not seen sagging from prolonged use.  Radiofrequency or ultrasound treatments post procedure can help keep the skin tight.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Botox can be done in any appropriate patient. But I would also discuss skin tightening techniques with radiofrequency
or ultrasound.

There is no generally accepted age limit to treating the masseters with Botox.  If your skin has reasonable elasticity, there is no reason to believe it would sag after slimming them.

At your age your skin likely has enough elasticity to shrink wrap your Botox'ed jawline. If you've had a nice result in the past you should be able to replicate that result. And if you keep going back for injections, your masseter should not be able to bulge and stretch the skin for when you eventually don't have the elasticity that you used to. There is a theoretical concern regarding more sagging after using Botox for the masseters but I haven't seen that happen.  Other procedure for skin tightening can be done like the Infini if this is a long term issue.

If you have jaw muscle hypertrophy, get Botox.   There is no age cutoff and your skin will adapt fine.   Skin   molds itself around the muscle atrophy so no fear.   My Best,  Dr C
