My opinion is that there is no sound reason for changing your asymmetrical face as you should know that a totally symmetrical face is an exception in nature. The ears are also not normally exactly symmetrical to the millimetre, just as the whole body is not built symmetrically. What you should also know is that photo composition can prove that a symmetrical face appears boring to an observer, whereas a slightly asymmetrical face looks significantly more interesting.

A good anterior platysma repair buttressed by suturing the posterior platysma should be enough. I have abandoned the Giampappa Suture because when pulled too tight or placed incorrectly nerve compression and pain behind ear can occur.
