Before having the filler my top lips were slightly uneven so more was injected into one side. Its 3 days later and most swelling has gone down but one side of my lip seems to have a gap and is lumpy? What is the best way to resolve this??? They lookes even when first done

Answer: Juvederm or Restylane for lips Please be patient. It takes about two weeks for any swelling or bruising to resolve after the injections. If you are still not happy at that time, return to your doctor for assessment.

Answer: Wait and see how swelling resolves I would give yourself 2 full weeks for any swelling to subside before making any final determination on whether your lips have any post-injection asymmetries. You are only 3 days out right now, so it's still too early to asses the final result. Swelling can vary from side to side and sometimes there may be more "pokes" with the needle on one side vs the other, which can cause this. If after 2 weeks there still is asymmetry, you can have your injector address this concern. Give it a little time. Good luck!
