It's too soon to tell what your final results will be. You may have swelling, which can be asymmetrical, and can last 1-2 weeks after injections. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. Hi tamfoster,Thanks for your question. I would actually advise you to wait before trying to do anything to correct the unevenness. It is still too early to see what your final result will be. Typically, I have patients come back 2 weeks after filler injections, to evaluate symmetry and do any touch ups. If there is still a bump at that time, your provider can always dissolve it with an enzyme (called hyaluronidase).

I would suggest waiting up to two weeks before assessing the outcome. If at this point you’re still unhappy with the shape or fullness of your lips, talk to your cosmetic surgeon’s office about either dissolving the current product and starting over, or modifying your look with additional injections.
