It's too soon to tell what your final results will be. You may have swelling, which can be asymmetrical, and can last 1-2 weeks after injections. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. Hi tamfoster,Thanks for your question. I would actually advise you to wait before trying to do anything to correct the unevenness. It is still too early to see what your final result will be. Typically, I have patients come back 2 weeks after filler injections, to evaluate symmetry and do any touch ups. If there is still a bump at that time, your provider can always dissolve it with an enzyme (called hyaluronidase).

Hello, and thanks for your question and photos. At just three days after your injections, it’s likely that you’re still not seeing your final results. I would suggest waiting up to two weeks before assessing the outcome. If at this point you’re still unhappy with the shape or fullness of your lips, talk to your cosmetic surgeon’s office about either dissolving the current product and starting over, or modifying your look with additional injections. Please be patient.  It takes about two weeks for any swelling or bruising to resolve after the injections. If you are still not happy at that time, return to your doctor for assessment.

I would give yourself 2 full weeks for any swelling to subside before making any final determination on whether your lips have any post-injection asymmetries. You are only 3 days out right now, so it's still too early to asses the final result. Swelling can vary from side to side and sometimes there may be more "pokes" with the needle on one side vs the other, which can cause this. If after 2 weeks there still is asymmetry, you can have your injector address this concern. Give it a little time. Good luck!

You you are only 3 days out after lip augmentation with Juvederm. You still have quite a few days left for the swelling to go down and your lips will most likely look much better. Until then, roll massage your lips for better results, especially in the area where you think your lips are lumpy and uneven. Good luck from New York City

Thank you for your question and for sharing your photographs.  Swelling after treatment with Juvederm is common, especially when the lips are treated.  Please keep in mind that it will take 2 weeks to allow for normal postprocedure swelling to fully resolve and to see your final result.  If you continue to have any concerns at 2 weeks (final result), please be sure to see your injector for an in-person reevaluation in order to determine the best course of action.  Hope this helps and best wishes! 

It can take up to two weeks for the swelling to completely resolve, particularly in the lips which are sensitive. So, for now, wait to judge your results. Also, keep in mind that everyone's mouth is a bit asymmetrical. It is part of what makes you unique. However, if you are still not happy with how things look after two weeks then yes, speak with your injector.
