Hello. According to the photos you have excess skin on lower abdomen and also fat depositions on sides and upper abdomen. In my opinion the best way to give you a good result is a lipoabdominoplasty surgery. Otherwise with only liposuction you can get rid of most of your fat but probably you will have contour irregularities especially on lower abdominal area. Also waist definition can be better with lipoabdominoplasty. Good luck.

It looks like you have some stretch marks on your mid-section. This may be an indication that you have loose skin. As a result, a tummy tuck would be recommended to get rid of the “hangover” on your lower abdomen. If you are only concerned about this area, a mini tummy tuck may be sufficient. Liposuction can be performed at the same time to improve your results if needed.

I think that taking the first step of losing weight is exactly the right idea. I would urge you to get down to your ideal weight for your height before making any decisions. Regarding your abdomen, the surest way of obtaining a tight abdomen is a tummy tuck. This would remove the excess superficial fat, and tighten the skin. The trade off is a scar. Liposuction alone would likely not be satisfying, as the skin will remain. There are skin tightening modalities such as renuvion, or body tite, which remove fat and cause dermal shrinkage. These treatments have reduced scar, but few surgeons provide it. Liposuction of the chin can cause significant improvement after the post surgical swelling subsides (1-2 months)

Liposuction will do resolve the excess skin. If you are planning on having future children, I recommend you hold off on a tummy tuck because it will stretch with pregnancy. The other alternative is to do the tummy tuck and then have it repeated once you are done with pregnancies. At this time, I recommend a low fat diet, core exercises such as sit-ups, planks, pilates and consult with a bariatric surgeon.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. You can try with liposuction and see if you will end up with loose skin. In some cases, liposuction can be a good solution for abdominal pouch. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

You could benefit from abdominal liposuction, and skin excision to remove that lower excess skin to improve the overall result. You may not need a full tummy tuck if you don’t want one. You could also benefit from neck liposuction.
