Hello! I always wanted to know how these instagram models that got liposuction and/or a BBL done hide their scars? I never see the scars even when they got a bikini on, even in their videos i don’t seem to find the scars? I do want liposuction done for a smaller waist but where will the incisions be? And I don’t want a bbl but i like to have my hipdips gone! I’m just scared that the scars will be really noticeable..
Answer: Liposuction scars Hi, thank you for your question. Liposuction scars can be placed below/under the bikini line in order to hide them from view. Make sure you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who can answer your questions and show you photos of their work. I hope this helps. Best of luck!

Answer: Laser treatment can help reduce appearance of these scars. Plastic surgery scars require attention after surgery so that they remain cosmetically-appealing and barely noticeable. In our office, we use a protocol for scars that minimizes their activity in the 6-8 weeks after surgery. If you have late plastic surgery scars, you may also require laser and RF therapy to help reduce the longterm effects of the scarring. Keloids, hypertrophic scars, widened scars, red scars, and hyperpigmented scars all require scar modulation with topical creams followed by lasers and RF therapy. Topical skincare should be directed to a specific need, whether for pigmentation or hypertrophy and our office can guide you through the process to obtain the correct Plato’s Scar cream or Melarase cream for hypertrophy and discoloration. In terms of lasers, we would employ the vbeam laser for redness, Venus Viva RF, PRP microneedling, chemical peels, and Morpheus 8, fractional erbium, or fractional co2. All of these have their individual benefits. Most of all, we recommend you visit a solid plastic surgeon who understands surgical scar revision, laser therapy, and RF therapy for scars. Answer: Hidden lipo incisions are best done with micro canulas by Board Certified Dermatologic Surgeons. Micro canulas are so small that the incisions are hidden easily and most patients just can't find them after a couple of months. That is why body builders and models etc.... get their liposuctions done by Board Certified Dermatologic Surgeons who are the inventors of the tumescent liposculpting with the micro canulas. The 5 mm scars that you get from general and plastic surgeons are acceptable to the average patient but not to models, actresses, etc... who really don't like these scars.

Answer: Liposuction Hello and thank you for your question. Liposuction mini scars can be hidden under the bikini line and can be very small. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G.
