to make an assessment regarding the outcome of any plastic surgery procedure, we need to see a complete set of proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have before, and after pictures, then ask your surgeon to forward the pictures they took. Fibrosis is usually term applied to individuals who had overly aggressive, uneven, liposuction done. It’s not a condition that happens to some people and not to others. it happens to all people when the procedure is done to aggressively leaving an uneven fat distribution. There’s no way to prevent this and postoperative care, including massages will have no impact on the final outcome. Once the operation is completed. Your outcome is a pure reflection of your candidacy for the procedure and how the procedure was performed. Attempting to correct or improve poorly Don Liposuction is very difficult and can lead things to get worse very easily. You May or may not be a candidate for revision work. If you opt for having revision, then make absolutely sure you’re in the hands of someone who is mastered this kind of work. Improving previous poorly done Liposuction is sometimes done with more liposuction, a.k.a. revision liposuction, fat transfer a.k.a. fat grafting or converting the procedure to a skin tightening operation like a tummy tuck. Often there are no easy solutions that give impressive outcomes. Having had pregnancies in between has also changed your anatomy, and this adds a significant layer of complexity to understanding your outcome. For that reason, it would be important to have before and after pictures from after surgery before you had children if available. Finding the right provider is generally time-consuming, and involves a significant amount of work. I usually recommend people have multiple in person consultations before selecting a provider. For complex situations need for provider selection becomes even greater. You may want to consider having four or five or even more consultations before even considering if revision surgery is appropriate. Any provider who thinks this is easy to correct or that some technology or certain device will really have a positive impact should probably be avoided. Different providers will have different opinions. As I mentioned earlier to make a quality assessment, we need really good information and that generally is going to entail a complete set of proper before and after pictures and an in person consultation with an examination. Until a plastic surgeon has access to all the information we can’t really give you a quality recommendBest, Mats Hagstrom MD
