Answer: Asthma Risks With Cosmetic Surgery I appreciate your concerns, and as long as your asthma is well-controlled, with clearance from your medical doctor, your asthma should not be a contraindication for surgery. Your plastic surgeon will most likely request that you bring your asthma inhaler with you when you arrive for surgery. However, you are essentially describing a form of mommy makeover surgery, and board-certified plastic surgeons recommend limiting multiple procedures on an outpatient basis to be performed within six hours. If your surgeon cannot do all the areas you desire within that time frame, staging the operation is a safer option. Also an absolute limit of 5 L of aspirate can be taken in one sitting. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area to greatly increase your chances for the best and safest result. Good luck.

Answer: Asthma Dear Day67r, your medical conditions should be under control prior to surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
