I have a scar on my lower lip cutting through the vermilion border, it’s 70 days old , it’s a 1cm or less long, it is indented and white, i want cut the scar and stitch it back again, the intial suture was ok but i started touching the scar after before it healed completely and that made it stretch and get bigger. What can i do to remove this scar

Answer: How can I remove this scar on my lower lip? Thank you for sharing your question and photograph. I agree that a surgical revision is your best option once your incision has fully healed and mature. Be aware that this will make a longer scar but hopefully not as wide of one. Hope this helps.

Dear Nazar,I think you should see a plastic surgeon for a scar excision with filler placement to separate the skin from the tissue under and keep the scar tissue away. The filler will help the upper skin tissues stay elevated until it heals. In addition, you may need to continue with Microneedling sessions to improve the skin complection. Your skin will experience redness from the treatment, which can last for up to a week. It is this inflammation that causes the Improvement in your skin as you to produce elevated levels collagee.
