Hello and thanks for the question. Based on your photo it seems that you have a widened scar along your nasal bridge. These can be improved with a relatively minor surgery. There will likely still be a slightly noticeable scar but it will surely look better. For the dent, this needs to be evaluated in person to get a sense of its actual location and depth. There are options for this as well. I would recommend seeing a board certified facial plastic surgeon or plastic surgeon to have this evaluated and devise a plan. Hope that helps and good luck.
Hello and thank you for your question. Thebest advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. Based onyour photographs, you may benefit from a scar revision with surgical excision and a multilayered closure. Make sure you specifically lookat before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgeryperformed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The mostimportant aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommendthat you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon whocan evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. Reish, M.D.Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
Hello and thanks for your question and photographs. your scar can be revised and dent can be smoothened by surgery under local anaesthesia as a day care surgery with minimum down time. Please consult board certified plastic surgeon and discuss .Best of luck.Dr Milan Doshi.
Thank you for your question. I think that thebest way to correct this is by direct excision of the dented area and carefulclosure. You will still be left with a scar but the aim would to make itflatter and less conspicuous. This surgery could be carried out underlocal anaesthetist as a day case
Yes, it can be improved with surgery alone. This can be done in rooms under local anaesthetic, wound care after has to be meticulous. Fractional lasers after can help reduce scarring even more, but it is not always necessary. All the best, Dr Davin S. Lim
