Hello, Lip lifts are great, not just for older patients with lips that have elongated over time, but also for younger patients that want enhancement of the central face and upper lip. A properly designed subnasal lift will not alter your nasal sills, but that is a valid concern. Intranasal extension and too much tension are the typical reasons for unwanted sill changes. The lip filler and botox are not alternatives, but this is a common misconception and I have a video coming out on this soon. The enhancement of a lift cannot be accomplished with a filler, and botox may elongate the lip by flattening and weakening it. From the photos, it appears you are likely a candidate but the filler will have to be dissolved fully to know how much of a lift is needed. Make sure the surgeon performs good quality lip lifts on a frequent basis. The keys to a good lift are design, amount removed (varies throughout the incision), freeing of tissues, and good deep layer support. Good luck!
