Answer: Blepharoplasty: things you should know Thank you for your question and for providing photos. You appear to be a candidate for blepharoplasty to refresh your eyes and face. This surgical procedure can redefine the shape of the eyes by removing any excess skin and repositioning fat to create a symmetrical appearance that is harmonious with the rest of your facial features. Upper blepharoplasty can correct hooding while lower blepharoplasty can smooth the transition between the lower lid and upper cheek. If you’re unsure about surgery, you can also consider a combination of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers and aesthetic treatments, such as RF microneedling, to add volume and smooth the skin for favorable, yet shorter-term results. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon or injector. They’ll be able to discuss your concerns with you and help you decide on the best treatment option.

Answer: Eyelid surgery... Based on your photos, you are a great candidate for both upper eyelid surgery and lower eyelid surgery with fat transfer. The upper lid surgery will create a youthful crease above while the removal of the lower lid fat pockets and injection of fat to the lower creases will make a nice smooth lower lid onto your cheek. Be sure to see a facial specialist for consultation.

Answer: Eyelid surgery Hello, thanks for your interest in eyelid surgery, with the time and the aging process the bags of your lower eyelids tend to prolapse and be more evident, as well as the skin stretches and gets loose, creating skin wrinkles. Although there are creams and non surgical treatments (radiofrequency, lowerlid peels, skin tightening devices , etc.) for improve this problem, the goldstandard is the surgery. For the upper eyelids we can remove the skin excess with or without brow lift that is another problem that worse the upper lid redundancy. For the lower lid, we mainly remove part of the fat bags, and another part is used to give fullness to the inferior lid crease, improving your lid-cheek union, sometimes we have to adjust and remove extra skin from the lower lid in order to get a better result. I hope this info could help you. Sincerely Dr. Luis Eduardo Guerrero.
