You appear to be a good candidate for a genioplasty. Almost always recommend this over a chin implant. With a genioplasty, we can essentially move you chin into any position you like. It uses your own bone, and there is not implant needed. It will also add length and definition to your jawline. The benefit of a genioplasty is that it lasts forever, and the whole procedure is done through the mouth, which means no external scarring. In the first photo, you do have a recessive chin profile and for which a small chin implant can improve. In our practice, we place chin implants through a small incision underneath the chin under local anesthesia as an outpatient procedure.
