I'm going to do my best to keep a long story short while expressing a great deal of appreciation. After three disappointing surgeries on my nose by a different doctor, I came to Foothills Facial Plastic Surgery for consultation. I met with Dr. Olson and he was honest with me about what I could expect and financial costs involved that were reasonable, if not generous.

Showing genuine concern, he presented options and helped me to understand the complexity of results I was hoping for. Providing pictures and images of my nose and what was likely possible. After considering all that he thoroughly explained, I chose to have the revision surgery which entailed a functional purpose, as well as aesthetic. Dr. Olson was able to fix my septum and transfer cartilage from my ear to the nose. Not only am I able to breathe better than ever, it looks fantastic.

Throughout the process Dr Olson, Mercy and their associates made me feel at ease and assured. As far as I'm concerned, Dr. Olson is a miracle worker and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I highly recommend this skilled and caring team. I can't thank you enough for what you've given me!

His staff, RN Mercy and RN Melissa are amazing! Mercy is the most beautiful and friendly person with lots of positive energy which makes me want to come back just to see her. She was very informative and knowledgeable in explaining the procedure to me. She also assisted me with after care treatment and skin care products for my nose. Melissa is kind and sweet with a peaceful energy which calms me when I was nervous. Together, the two ladies compassion makes me feel comfortable and that I have made the right decision in choosing Dr. Olson.

From the initial consultation appointment through post procedure recovery, Dr. Olson and his team were professional, compassionate, and highly communicative the entire time. He runs a very efficient practice, with care and compassion at the top.

What was truly validating to me was during the surgery prep, every medical team member I encountered remarked on Dr. Olson’s great patient care, results, and general reputation. All of these comments were unsolicited and very impressive. I knew I made the right choice in my Doctor.

I had a septoplasty/rhinoplasty by Dr Olson and from start to finish, the whole process was amazing. The office staff and nurse Mercy have been so nice and helpful. My nose needed a lot of work, but Dr Olson explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions. I was nervous about how the recovery would be, but I ended up having very little pain and the stuffiness was very tolerable. All in all, one of the best decisions I have ever made was choosing Dr Olson for my procedure and I would recommend him to anyone in need of any facial plastic surgery or any services offered by his practice.

I am 76, had a facelift at 54, and am committed to maintaining the results without undergoing a second lift. I've done CO2 lasers, ultherapy, thermage, sofwave, Morpheus 8, and have my own "at home" RF machine and NuFace.

Ellacor was comparably the least uncomfortable and most effective procedure I've done since my earlier surgery. The discomfort was minimal, I was ready for prime time in four days, and will do my second ellacor in May.

I've been a part of the medical field all my life. Earning my own PhD at 50 has allowed me to understand research and, hopefully, make good decisions.

Ellacor removes about 8% of laxity each time its done, and my skin seems to be resiliant after the procedure as I've also slowly lost a few pounds.

It's a subtle improvement and, most importantly, very natural looking.

This procedure MUST be done by a highly qualified practitioner as in a facial plastic surgeon, a dermatologist or an RN with advanced training. In the wrong hands the after effects could be substantially unwanted.

Most importantly, the results are subtle but permanent. I'm looking forward to my next Ellacor.

My pictures. Before picture is taken right before ellacor. No makeup. My after picture is taken six weeks later with makeup. As I mentioned in my earlier review I do use my Nuface religiously. I think the NuFace enhances the results of any procedure. I also have before and after pictures of my liplift which also subtracted years from my face. A lot of people hang trouble believing that I'm 76.

I met Dr. Olson and Mercy for the first time for a rhinoplasty consultation in 2017. From day 1, they have been amazingly kind, attentive, and flexible. After years of consideration (and having to reschedule for work/family reasons), I finally proceeded with the surgery (rhinoplasty/septoplasty) in 2023. In the weeks leading up to the procedure, Mercy worked hard to ensure I had medical clearance, helping send my medical records to the surgical center. Since this was my first surgery, I was very nervous on the day of my operation. Dr. Olson, my anesthesiologist, and the nurses at the surgical center all did an excellent job providing comfort and reassurance.

I had chatted with a friend about her rhinoplasty recovery and was prepared for a rough 1-2 weeks, but my recovery was relatively painless with minimal bruising (worst on days 2-3 post-op). I returned to working/studying on my laptop at 7 days post-op. Although I still had swelling (it's normal for swelling to take around 3 months to resolve, with full results in 1 year), at only 1.5 weeks post-op, I was happily impressed with the results! I owe my fast recovery to Dr. Olson, partly because he understood exactly what changes I wanted and therefore decided to not perform an osteotomy. I have also been told by a surgical nurse that Dr. Olson is very gentle and his patients often report an easier recovery (relative to other patients she has cared for)!

I am now 4 months post-op and my nose is exactly what I was hoping for! I was concerned about rhinoplasty changing my face too much, but my nose looks natural and with the character of my old nose, just without a dorsal bump and with a slimmer tip! I've had no post-op complications, but I was worried about infection, septal hematoma, and other complications that I've read about in the weeks and months after the operation. Dr. Olson was very responsive to my concerns and saw me for follow-up appointments in clinic. He used his decades of experience and extensive medical knowledge to provide the best care and reassurance. He and Mercy are truly one of a kind providers. Thank you, Dr. Olson and Mercy!
