Since getting tape off they have been super itchy even woken me up at night.. the Scare seems to be crusty also that was there when I had one week check up will thus go away or a sign of it not healing.. I know surgeon use glue on my scars..

Answer: This is a normal side effect. Talk to your plastic surgeon about the best solutions. Congratulations on your breast augmentation. What are you are describing is a normal part of the healing process. Although it’s tempting, avoid scratching your incision sites, as this can interfere with your recovery. Contact your plastic surgeon and let him or her know that this is bothering you and ask for suggestions for how to alleviate the itchiness. Many times, an oral or topical antihistamine can help to curb this sensation, but it’s best to check with your doctor before starting a new medication during your recovery.
