The answer depends on the regulations at the surgery center. At ours, we allow patients to keep their underwear on if they feel more comfortable this way.
Pants/knickers are not allowed to be worn during a surgical procedure. Depending on the facility that you are using, you may be able to leave your underwear on. Ideally, you can speak with your Plastic Surgeon to find out what is allowed to be worn during your surgery. Good luck.
Hello,Thank you for your question. For breast augmentation surgery, underwear is often allowed. I recommend that you ask your Plastic Surgeon about this. All the best
Thank you for the question. The answer is it depends on the surgeon and surgical center rules but in most cases when that is allowed the underwear has to be pure cotton no nylon or metal so you don't get burned when we use electrocautery to coagulate the blood vessels during surgery. Discuss this with your plastic surgeon. Best of luck!Dr. Khuthaila
Thanks so much for reaching out. It really depends on the procedures and protocols of the surgery center you're having your operation in. And my center which if Ikelea have patience take the pants off but they're on the work and say I'm doing breast procedures. I hope this helps :-)
The answer is it depends on the rules of the surgery center. At my surgery center, we routinely have patients have on their underwear that has no metal on it while having a breast augmentation.
This depends on your surgeon and surgery center rules. I have patients who wear their favorite garments to surgery.
We instruct all of our patients to wear cotton underwear the day of your surgery, however, each facility could have differing protocol.
Dear PatientIm afraid that the answer is no, you will not be able to wear your own underwear during your surgical procedure. However you will be provided with paper knickers, therefore your genital areas will be covered at all times. This has to do with having to use diathermy instruments in order to coagulate blood vessels (to stop any bleeding); electricity will be traveling through your body and we don't want for the electricity to be transmitted to the skin and cause a burn. This is also why you are supposed to remove jewellery and any metal piercing prior to surgery. I hope this helps?Best wishes and good luck with your surgery!
Thank you for your question. In my office we allow patients to keep their pants on during a simple breast augmentation. We always suggest wearing ones you don't truly care about in case they get betadine on them that can stain them. Every surgeon is different, so be sure to ask yours if that is what they do in their office. I wish you the best of luck!
Hello,I recommend that you continue to follow up with your family doctor as there can be many causes for breathing difficulty. All the best

The short answer is that, yes, men interested in breast augmentation can have surgery. There are some issues such as tissue quality and implant visibility that can be unique to the male breast. The specifics should be discussed during your consultation. Best of luck.
