Question

Hi , I had a fue hair transplant 1 year ago with 4000 grafts. I would like to know if a second hair transplant could improve density at front as it looks sparse, especially under artificial light

Based on your photos yes you will need a second surgery but the best in your case will be to contact your surgeon or clinic and consult with them. The first 4000 graft transplant should have produced more coverage than your photos depict at 1 year. Look into a second surgery with improved yield. First discuss with your doctor what he/she advises. Sometime waiting until the 18th month is needed to see the final result of your transplant. That said, you would require more than 4000 grafts to restore your area of baldness which is at a NW 6 level at the beginning. With the use of head and body hair it is possible to get full restoration using the Dr UGraft method I use for instance I have been restoring severely bald individuals using head and body hair even in instances of donor depletion from prior surgeries

If you already had 4000 grafts and you see its results, you can easily infer what another surgery may provide.  More hairs will improve density but you need to understand what that "improvement" means to you.

You have a lack of density and has un successfull result. I have to check your donor area in order to calculate or estimate number of grfats that we can harvest for secod procedure .I think that you would have improved density at front any way.Hair grafting/ transplant can be an option for  getting the desired hairline in just one sesssion of dense packing hair transplant.

Many patients have a second transplant in order to improve density. Assuming you have a sufficient quality donor area and no other unusual circumstances it would be an option for you to achieve more desirable results, too. 4000 grafts is significant but most people have a few thousand more to spare, so I suggest you talk to a doctor about what is possible for you.

Yes, an additional procedure would improve density. Depending on how many grafts your donor region will support. A great first step would be an online consultation. Often you can submit photos to top hair restoration surgeons for a complimentary evaluation and assessment. This should help lead you in the right direction. Having multiple consultations with different doctors will let you know your best options.
