I am 4 years post op and I can still see the strip placed inside my nose bridge. I went back to my plastic surgeon after 1 year post op and he injected filler in the area which only worked for a while but I seem to have this permanent. Can this be fixed without having to use fillers ?
Answer: Nose It appears that there is some contour irregularity in the nasal bones area. With these limited photos, it is difficult to determine exactly what is going on. I recommend seeing a rhinoplasty surgeon (preferably an American Board of Plastic Surgery certified surgeon with extensive aesthetic surgery experience).

Answer: Is that a cartilage graft? ... Your surgeon should know. I would be pessimistic that it can be camouflaged. Besides the little transverse ridge, it seems that we can see sharp side edges of the graft heading down toward the tip of your nose. I tend to think simply: I would remove the graft surgically!

Answer: Contour irregularity to nasal bridge following surgery Thank you for your question and for sharing your photograph. If the contour irregularity on the bridge of your nose is due to cartilage, it can often be improved with a minor in-office procedure under local anaesthetic known as needle rasping. This technique involves using a fine needle to break down and subtly reshape the cartilage, redistributing the material from the edges to create a smoother contour without completely removing it. If the irregularity is not related to a cartilage graft, alternative options include camouflaging the area with injectable filler or fat transfer. In cases where a more definitive correction is required, surgical intervention may be necessary.

Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can understand from your question, It will be possible to make a more accurate evaluation if you can send your photos in good light at 95 degree angles from the front and side profile. It would be better face to face consultation. Best Regards!

Answer: A permanent non-surgical nose job for camouflaging visible cartilage grafts on the bridge The irregularity that you are seeing is the point where your nasal skin is the thinnest. It's called the rhinion. We have had excellent success in camouflaging visible cartilage grafts with judicious usage of microdroplet Silikon-1000, a permanent soft tissue filler. Thank you for this question, and I hope this is helpful. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
