Hello, You can start to laser the nose at one month post op from your rhinoplasty. It is important to consult with your surgeon as well before you proceed.
Great question! After a rhinoplasty, it’s important to allow the nose ample time to fully heal before undergoing any laser treatments, such as CO2 resurfacing. In most cases, I recommend waiting at least 6 to 12 months before considering laser treatments on the nose. This ensures that the skin, underlying tissues, and any residual swelling have settled completely. Treating too soon can interfere with healing and potentially cause unwanted complications. However, every patient heals differently, so the best approach is to have a personalized assessment. If you’re concerned about post-surgical skin texture or scarring, we can explore other non-invasive treatments in the meantime.
Hi, It is better for you to consult with your facial plastic surgeon who can examine you and give you opinion based on examination. at least 3 months post-op
If the textural problems on your nose are related to excessive oil producing glands, and skin irregularities, you may indeed have a shorter recovery process if this is controlled in advance of surgery. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr Joseph
This is surgeon dependent... but for me personally, I'd probably let them do it as soon as 1mo after surgery.
Hello!Thank you for your question. As far as i can understand from your question after the rhinoplasty operation, you should wait 1 year for this procedure.Best Regards!
This can vary depending on whether you had a primary or revision rhinoplasty or whether it was open or closed. Generally the earliest I would perform CO2 laser on my rhinoplasty patients is 6 weeks, but I suggest you consult with your rhinoplasty surgeon and follow their advice.
Hello and thank you for your question. The answer to this would depend on a number of factors, including if you are a revision and how thick your skin is. I never recommend having any treatments on the nose unless specifically approved by me for my patients. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. This is a challenging question to answer. Every surgeon is likely different in this regard, and it would be unfair to guess how technically accurate any surgeon's operative report is. It is common for surgeons to have templated operative notes, however these are generally amended shortly after...
Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photos for this reason, revision rhinoplasty will be the most accurate and reliable choice for a permanent solution. It may take 1.5 to 2 years for thick skin to take shape completely, I recommend that you discuss this issue with...
Hello!Thank you for your question. As far as I can understand from your question There is sagging at the tip of your nose and at the same time there is a hump on the back of your nose for this, the most permanent and safe method I recommend to you will be rhinoplasty surgery. It would be better...
