As far as I can understand from your question first of all, I recommend you to have a detailed ent examination, it will not be possible to give accurate information without an examination.

The area of redness on the tip of the nose does not correspond to typical placement of stitches for contouring the cartilages. It therefore seems unlikely to be related to a low-grade infection at an interval from your surgery.

I suggest discussing this with a dermatologist in case it is an unrelated event.

If you had permanent sutures in place then it is possible that is could become infected. I recommend you see your surgeon. You may need to have the suture removed.

The best advice I could provide is to visit a reputable rhinoplasty specialist. We used to use permanent sutures in the beginning of our practice, and when they have extruded, it has usually been on the inside of the nose, not through the skin. Hello and thank you for your question. This redness may get better on its own or it may be able to be improved with a laser treatment.. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
