I'm sorry you are feeling ill. The inflammation you are noticing may be related to the illness that you contracted. If the inflammation doesn't resolve as you begin to feel better return to your injector for an evaluation. If needed, the filler can be dissolved.

Thank you for your question. Nothing takes the place of an in person examination - I would suggest following up with your injector. Sometimes filler can get infected long after it's injected; if this is the case, then it should be dissolved and you you will likely need a course of antibiotics. However, nothing takes the place of an in person examination, and you should start with that. Best of luck!
