What would be the best, least invasive procedure to lift the nose tip and slim the bridge?
Answer: You may be a better candidate for rhinoplasty surgery. Based on your photos, you appear to have a relatively Broad and flat nasal appearance with a droopy tip. In our experience, rhinoplasty surgery is the most predictable way to achieve permanent nasal narrowing and tip lifting. Thank you for your question. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Answer: Liquid Rhinoplasty for a Non Surgical Nose Job Hello, and thank you for your question! Your nose could be improved with fillers, but you need to see the right kind of practitioner. A doctor who does not perform surgical rhinoplasties cannot possibly understand the structural dynamics of an aesthetic nose. A plastic and reconstructive surgeon preferably with craniofacial experience has this advantage. I have developed a technique of using filler to balance the facial features, referred to as Aesthetic Facial Balancing. More recently liquid rhinoplasty’s have been in high demand and it has been a popular topic. I asses each patient individually and what changes in their features would improve their aesthetics most. We find that most patients looking for a surgical rhinoplasty end up being a great candidate for a non-surgical rhinoplasty. This technique that I have created allows patients to get similar results as a surgical rhinoplasty, but with very little recovery time (avoiding residual swelling that can last up to one year) and giving them instant results in less than 20 minutes. I use a hyaluronic based filler that is extremely safe for patients, and most patients are a good candidate for a liquid rhinoplasty. I hope that this helps! Wishing you beautiful results,Dr. Rian Maercks M.D.

Answer: Would a non surgical nose job be able to make my nose bridge and tip appear smaller or is it too bulbous? hello, Thank you for your question. A physical examination could provide best options for you. Your goals are achievable by the surgical nose job. As fillers add volume you don't seem to be a good candidate for a nonsurgical one. Based on your photo the length can be shortened and the tip refined. As you have a wide nose, to catch the harmony between the dorsum and the tip a wing surgery might be needed, which is the removal of the excessive parts of the alas. Breathing issues can be corrected as well. Rhinoplasty is one of the most challenging procedures in plastic surgery, and tip plasty is its most difficult aspect. I use suturing techniques to achieve a narrower, refined and aesthetically pleasing tip. Comparing to the open rhinoplasty Closed and Atraumatic technique in Rhinoplasty minimizes swelling and bruises; maximizes healing, prevents tissue damage and eliminates a scar on the columella. Answer: Non-Surgical Nose Job Candidate -- with Fillers (Voluma, Restylane, Juvederm) I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to go over your desired results. Facial fillers (like Voluma, Restylane, Juvederm) can be used to improve the symmetry of the nose, but surgery would be needed to improve nostrils or overall shape. Best to see an expert. - Dr. Emer

Answer: Would a nonsurgical nose job accomplish making my nose smaller? NO, placement of fillers in the nose only makes the nose bigger, not smaller. It's only temporary and not FDA approved. Skin necrosis is a possible complication. To make the nose smaller requires a surgical Rhinoplasty. To narrow the bridge line requires osteotoies, and to narrow wide nostrils required an alar-plasty.
