I have fillers in my nose, Princess Volume, for over 6 months now but I want it dissolved. Are there any potential risks?

I have 1ml of the filler and the last "re-fill" was in November 2018. I know that this filler lasts from 8 to 12 months but I want to undergo rhinoplasty in the next few months and I will have to dissolve the filler prior to that. Two doctors suggested that I let it dissolve naturally but I want to dissolve it as soon as possible. Are there any potential risks? I have seen that Hyaluronidase causes swelling.

Many times we will meet patients that have had a dorsal hump camouflaged with HA, and they wish to undergo rhinoplasty surgery. In our experience, the dissolving enzyme works particularly fast in those who have HA in their noses. We have seen dissolution within 2 to 3 days or less. Thank you for this question. Injection Rhinoplasty is a reversible procedure.  All hyaluronic acid fillers including princess volume can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. This is often required if a patient is not satisfied with the result or if a patient is contemplating surgical rhinoplasty.

Thank you for your question, the risk are the same for both options, letting it dissolve naturally versus getting it dissolve. All of the injectable may not fulyl dissolve at the same time naturally and not all the time you can target all of the injectable solution during dissolving treatment. I hope this was helpful.
