What can I do about my saggy breast at such a young age? (photos)

Hello,  it is very important that you are admitting that you are overweight since this is a big factor in your question.   Without seeing pictures, I must assume that "breast sagging" means that your breast tissue hangs considerably lower than the crease under the breast and your nipple is also too low.  If that is the case, you will need to have a breast reduction or a breast lift at  some point in order to achieve the look that you want. Your biggest goal and challenge at this point is to come to a healthy and more ideal weight. I recommend that you discuss this with your family practice doctor or pediatrician.  You may need to see a nutritionist in order to develop eating habits  that can help you lose weight in a healthy and sustainable way for the rest of your life. Once you are more at your ideal weight and have maintained it for a long period of time, you should see a board-certified plastic surgeon to decide which type of operation you are a candidate for.

Unfortunately there are not many options other than surgery to lift and tighten the skin of your breasts.  As you alluded to, you will likely see the biggest change in heaviness and fullness of your breasts with weight loss. Most women find that their breasts deflate and can even sag more with significant weight loss like your talking about, more than 100 pounds.  It will be a journey but getting to an ideal weight for yourself and then considering either breast reduction or breast lift will likely be your best solution.  Good Luck!

Once you reach your goal weight, and turn 18,  sounds like you would benefit from a breast lift and possibly a reduction with a lift.  Difficult to comment without photos.

Thank you for your question.Yes, the breast will appear somewhat "sagging" with weight loss. This is due to the supportive ligaments that are stretched out with weight gain and then subsequently sag once the weight is off. Be sure to consult with a board certified/eligible plastic surgeon. It's hard to try and speculate what your breasts will look like after the weight loss. You may need a lift, you may not. I suspect that if you do have more than a grade 3 ptosis, you will need the lift. But, regardless, it's all speculation. Lose the weight first, just because you should and you will be much better off from a health standpoint anyway. As as for helping the skin now, the only thing I have seen to work on very loose skin is Retin-a 0.1% on the skin of the breast and abdomen. It won't solve all the issues, but can certainly help tighten the skin a little bit while losing the weight now. Best. 

If only the SHAPE is your concern, then I agree, weight loss comes first. Because, if you get a lift now and then lose weight, your breasts may sag again to an unacceptable level.If SIZE is also a concern and you are having difficulty, then it changes the equation and a reduction (which will also give you a lift) may be in order now.just remind you, any breast surgery may affect your ability to breast feed in the future.

For starters, do what you can to lose the extra weight. It's not only adversely affecting your health, but it's also negatively impacting your breasts and it sounds like your self esteem. Once you get your weight to a level that is healthy and that you can maintain, you may want to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss a breast lift and/or augmentation if the sagging in your breasts still bothers you. However, you may find that the weight loss eliminates the issue. 

and you should devote all of your energies to losing your excesses.  Once you have achieved success, then you can start critiquing your body as there will be many procedures that you could consider in removing the excess skin and lifting sagging areas.  Worrying about your breasts without losing weight is an exercise in futility.  Good luck.

As has been suggested, it will be best to get your weight down to your goal and then have a breast lift (mastopwxy). You may or may not desire an implant as well but your best starting point would be to meet with a board-certified plastic surgeon who can provide the best advice after examine you.Dr. Edwards
