Hello and thank you for your question. With any injection, there will be some degree of swelling, bruising and tenderness that can last up to 2 weeks (depending on the severity). Intermittent icing, taking Arnica, and avoiding massage can help in your healing time. Best of luck!

Thanks for your question and as Dr. Emer has stated, it sometimes takes several treatments with hyaluronidase to dissolve HA fillers in the lips. Ice and gentle massage can also be done, but make sure you are with an experienced injector who knows how to use hyaluronidase
Hi there, You can apply ice or cold compresses but swelling can last a few weeks. Please keep in mind that it may take a few treatments of Hylenex to completely dissolve the material.
